Make people press play.

A player for the page that has to convert. It loops four silent seconds so the video is already moving when someone lands, puts a button in front of them once they're watching, and tells you what happened next.

  • £49 once per player, no subscription
  • YouTube, Vimeo or your own file
  • No cookies, so no consent banner

Live, not a mock-up

This is the player.

It's the same code you'd paste on your own page, pointed at a real video. Press play, then the button that appears. Every view of it here is counted the way yours will be.

<div data-anico-player="ANI-7F3K2Q8M" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9"></div>
<script src="https://player-staging.anico.click/v1/player.js" async></script>

Two lines. The first reserves the space, so your page never jumps while the script loads.

How it works

Ten minutes from a link to a live player.

  1. 1

Paste the link to a video you already have

YouTube, Vimeo, or an MP4 or HLS stream on your own server. We check it plays, and tell you if it won't.

  2. 2

Choose the loop and write the button

Pick the four seconds that stop the scroll. Say what the button should say and where it goes. Show it at once, or only after they've watched enough to care.

  3. 3

Paste two lines on your page

Webflow, WordPress, Squarespace, Framer or plain HTML. Change the video, the loop or the button later and the page updates within ten minutes.

What it costs your page

Almost nothing, until someone presses play.

Most video embeds load a whole player before anyone has decided to watch. This one loads the preview and the button first, and the controls only after the click. Your page speed scores stay where they were.

The numbers

Not views. What people did.

How many pressed play. The second they stopped. Which page made them click the button. Per player, per page, with the month before beside it, and a weekly email if you want one.

Pricing

£49, once.

Per player, for as long as your page exists. No monthly fee, no plan to outgrow, no limit on views. Build and preview as many as you like for free. You pay when one goes live.

Questions

The things people ask before they paste it in.

Anything else, email hello@anico.click.

Does it work on Webflow, WordPress, Squarespace or Framer?

Anywhere you can paste two lines of HTML. Webflow's embed element, a WordPress custom HTML block, Squarespace's code block and Framer's embed component all work. There's a short guide for each inside the dashboard.

Where does my video live?

Where it is now. We don't host video. You give us the link, on YouTube, Vimeo or your own server, and we draw the player around it. Replace the file and the player picks up the new one.

What about cookies and GDPR?

The player sets no cookies and stores nothing about the person watching. It counts views, plays, how far people got and clicks, per page. YouTube and Vimeo don't load until someone presses play, so their cookies don't either.

Will it slow my page down?

Eight kilobytes on load, with the space reserved before the script runs, so nothing shifts. The controls arrive after the click. Every change to the player is measured against a page-speed budget before it ships.

Can I change it after it's live?

Yes. The video, the loop, the button, when it appears, the colours and the font. Save, and the page updates within ten minutes without touching the code you pasted. Every version is kept, so you can go back.

What if I change my mind?

Refund yourself from your account page within fourteen days. The player comes offline and the money goes back the way it came.

Who makes this?

Anico Studio, an animation studio in the UK. We built the player for our own site first, because the showreel on our homepage wasn't getting pressed.
